About us

We opened Maison Caramel in 2008 with the aim of creating a stylish, relaxed and comfortable mountain retreat for our guests. We want you to feel welcomed and looked after during your stay – and to have fun too – whether it’s on the slopes, out exploring or back at the farmhouse. 

We're a Spanish and English couple and first came out to the area in 2002 to run a ski chalet for a season. We loved the mountains so much that we sold up and moved over!

If you leave feeling recharged and happy, we’ll have achieved our goal!

PS In winter, the house is run as a ski chalet and looked after by our team of very capable hosts (including a professional chef). We manage the bookings and oversee the general operation of the chalet, but we live out.
