catered ski chalet holidays
![]() | Enjoy log fires, delicious organic food and real alpine village life in our gorgeous farmhouse ski chalets in Les Arcs and La Plagne (Paradiski). |
Our two luxury chalets, Maison Caramel and Chalet Caramelli, are located in the quaint village of Landry close to the ski slopes, yet free from package holiday crowds.

Village of Landry
Built into the hillside under Landry's 17th century church, Maison Caramel and Chalet Caramelli are in a lovely setting with woodland at the back and the village dropping away in front. Landry is an old alpine farming village surrounded by ancient apple orchards and beautiful wild flower meadows.
The village has two bars and restaurants, post office, village store and a free village shuttle bus to the slopes and back. Its tranquil, old-fashioned atmosphere offers a welcome contrast to some of the surrounding ski resorts with their package tour operators and ugly buildings.
Skiing
Technically part of the Peisey-Vallandry ski resort (although actually closer to Montchavin-Les Coches in La Plagne), Landry is right in the heart of Paradiski and the lifts are just a short drive from the chalets. We run a shuttle bus to the slopes and back in Montchavin-les Coches, or you can take the free village bus to the lifts in Plan Peisey or the Arc 1600 funicular in Bourg St Maurice.
Created by the joining of Les Arcs and La Plagne by the Vanoise Express cable car, Paradiski rises to over 3400m and has 420 kms of lift-connected ski slopes and 144 lifts. There are beautiful forest runs, several nursery areas, snowboard parks, and two glaciers (the Bellecote and Aigle Rouge).
The Montchavin Les Coches and Peisey Vallandry valleys are also heaven for off-piste adventurers... and a favourite spot for international freeriders. We're happy to arrange off-piste trips with qualified mountain guides for advanced skiers and boarders. Ask us for details.
We are also within easy reach of Tignes, Val d'Isere, Sainte Foy, Three Valleys, La Rosiere and Valmorel. You can drive yourself, or join one of our day trips to the surrounding resorts (extra charge).
Prices
Our catered prices are the same flat rate of 545€ per person for 7 nights throughout the season (150€ supplement for Christmas and Easter, 250€ supplement for New Year and Half Term). Prices are based on a minimum of two people sharing a room, and include the courtesy shuttle service to and from the slopes, breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course evening meal every night except the hosts’ night off. The 2011-12 ski season runs from 11th December 2011 to 30th April 2012 (limited lift opening first and last week of the season).
